What children eat is vitally important. Sampling a wide variety of home cooked foods at a young age will hopefully provide a love of food for life.
The staff team are working together to ensure that we take a whole setting approach to health and wellbeing, including promoting physical development, nutrition, oral health, emotional wellbeing and safety.
The benefits of childhood nutrition are enormous; a nutritious diet provides your child with good eating habits for life, healthy skin, a healthy weight and improved behaviour.
We provide nutirionally balanced, home-cooked meals using menus designed by our Nursery cook in conjunction with a Nutrionist, to meet the needs of each age range. We ensure that all the children receive the recommended daily allowance of protein, carbohydrate, fat, dairy and fresh fruit and vegetables.
Our food is prepared fresh every day, and cooked on the premises by our wonderful Nursery cooks.
We stay away from refined and processed foods. Whole foods provide the children with the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that they need to grow up, healthy and strong.
